The Big Short – The Next Step Down

Fun fact: we were forced (yes, literally! — don’t ask!) to buy a home in March of 2022. We paid probably twice what the home is worth, and were lucky to have done that well. We’re getting by financially, but it’s not exactly how I envisioned my dotage playing out. Still, I find my 75yoa “Goggins” version (just KFG!) quite challenging.

Note two

I feel obliged to say that in at least one way, I regret my previous “Ding Dong …” post. It’s not that I feel like I treated her unfairly, but I feel that it is also true that I have no real right to judge her, given my own life of sin. I despise her and many of her peers for what they are, but I do not hold myself as better than they, and I would not want anyone to think that I do.
