Palm Sunday

The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out:
“Hosanna!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
The King of Israel!”
Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written:
“Fear not, daughter of Zion;
Behold, your King is coming,
Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”
~ John 12: 12-15

Dog eats dog

A number of New York state legislators have openly opposed NY Governor Cuomo’s executive order to take ventilators from their areas of the state to supply them to New York City.

While there are compelling arguments on both sides of the dilemma regarding the allocation of resources, the first thing that occurred to me might differ somewhat.

How many of these state legislators live in a district that practices or supports the concept of “eminent domain”?

How does it feel being the victim of the practice?

How will they act going forward when such a practice is exercised within their district?
